Where our data comes from
Six independent streams feed every score. No single stream can move a score by more than 25 points.
11 partner labs across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad — all ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.
We mirror the FSSAI licence and recall registry every 4 hours. Any revocation triggers an alert on subscribed products.
MCD, NDMC, BBMP, BMC, GHMC and more — we ingest restaurant inspection minutes via FOIA-equivalent RTI feeds.
CSE adulteration reports, ICMR papers, consumer-groups like Chakr and Mouth Shut are indexed and weighted.
2.4M verified scans feed into the live signal. Batch-level reports are moderated before display.
Equinox, SGS, TQ Cert, DNV and BV audit reports are loaded directly — we don't re-type them.

We avoid stars because they hide the math. Every score is the weighted average of five sub-scores, each normalised to 0–100.

What we promise
Every score links to the source document, the method used, and the limit it was measured against.
Brands cannot influence their score. We reject brand ads on product pages — no exceptions.
Scores are averaged across at least three independent labs. Any single lab carries ≤ 40% weight.
We surface both Indian (FSSAI) and stricter international (EU, US FDA) thresholds so you can decide.
